The future of leadership
I am delighted and grateful to be able to take part in the UN event on the "Future of Leadership". It will be hosted by the SDG tent (UN Sustainable Development Goals) during the annual World Economic Forum in Davos.
The SDG tent in Davos 2019 is a non-partisan and open space where ideas, thought leaders and unhindered dialogue can flourish and drive the global debate on the role of business and its ability to achieve sustainable and inclusive development.
The discussion will focus on "The Future of Leadership" to discuss how leaders can and must navigate the increasingly complex business and governance landscape of the digital age.
Moderated by Peter Zemsky, Deputy Dean of INSEAD, the panellists will include Sue Desmond-Hellmann, CEO of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation; Stephane Kasriel, CEO of Upwork; Rain Yu Long, CHRO of JD.com; Maheen Rahman, CEO of Alfalah GHP Investment Management and Feike Sijbesma, CEO of DSM.
I am very much looking forward to this opportunity to deepen my understanding of leadership in the context of digital business transformation!
Indeed, a great event it was! I was especially thrilled to see that next to the high-profile panellist there were also other world leaders like Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, John Holland-Kaye and others... not to forget about Andre Hoffmann. Such a high concentration of world leaders is only possible at the WEF. Great insight and learnings. Thank you Peter Zemsky and INSEAD for making this possible!
